Colonial House Set

A typical two box ranch, raised ranch or cape house will take one day to set and finish roofing.  If there are dormers on the cape and gable end windows, it could take another day to finish.

This colonial took two days.  It consisted of four boxes and two bump out dormers on the front of the house.  Once the house is set and the roof is lifted, the set crew then has to finish roofing and shingle over roof vent. On this set, there is no vinyl siding as the homeowner chose to apply a different type of siding on their home.

The vinyl siding and soffit vents on the gable ends are completed by a siding or finish contractor after the set is complete.
